Thanksgiving Plans for Vocal Students

The Vocal Department performs at the Jacksonville Landing Treelighting on the Friday after Thanksgiving each year and it is a required event for ALL of the vocal department students.  Friday will be a FULL day of preparation & performance from approximately 3pm-9:30pm. Students will be bused from DA to the Landing.
 

Epcot Candlelight Processional

The trip to Disney to perform at the Epcot Holidays Around the World Candlelight Processional is an honor for DA Vocal Students not a privilege. We have had the opportunity to perform for several years. This is NOT a required trip. The dates are Wed & Thurs December 17th & 18th.

Take the Concert Home!

Recordings are made of each vocal concert and are available the night of the concert or later by contacting the DA Recording department.  The cost is $10 for a 2 disc set. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (Recording Director) for details on how to purchase. Make sure you indicate the Vocal Department and which concert date you wish to purchase.  Prior concerts are also available.
 

Need a Tutor? 

The National Honor Society is offering FREE student tutoring for academic classes as well as MUSIC THEORY.  If you need a little help with any of your academics or music theory classes see Ms. Cherry/NHS Advisor in the Media Center for more information.
